Troubleshooting White Screens Issues in Versions Older Than 5.4

Getting a white screen while working with the application, is usually a client side error occurring in Silverlight.

Client side logs are disabled by default for better performance but can be enabled using the following steps:

1.  In the clients web.config (C:\Program Files\Pyramid Analytics\BI Office 5\websites\paBio\web.config)
Under <appSettings> set the <add key="ClientLogs" value="false"/> to true


2.  Open the application in IE browser and hit F12 for the developer tools.
Recreate the scenario resulting with the white screen.
Go to the console in the developer tool, type ShowLogs() and press the return button.
It will retrieve the logs accumulated so far.

*Note: the 'ShowLogs()' function exists only after enabling client logs in the web config file.
