Find Which User is Running a Query in Profiler when Token Authentication is Enabled

When using Effective Tokens and the profiler is run, the user shown under the NTUserName column will always show as the Data Source User, regardless of the user logged into Pyramid.

However, all cube security settings assigned to the user that is logged into BI Office will be enforced and not the security settings of the Data Source User

To see which user is querying the cube, run the “SQL Profiler”, on the “Event selection” select “Discover Begin”.
If needed, use the “Column Filters”, to filter by application etc.

To see the effective user, click on the first result which shows the “data source user” under the “NTUserName” column.

In the bottom half of the screen, it will be possible to user the effective user name used.
